The Nicki Minaj and Mariah Beef Is Over

Nicki Minaj is genuinely tired of talking about her feud with Mariah Carey. The two "American Idol" hosts had a heated back-and-forth months ago during auditions in North Carolina, and the spat made international headlines. But Nicki says that its more or less water under the bridge. She shouted out how much she loves all of her fellow "Idol" judges (including Carey) and when MTV asked Minaj if things were okay between the two, she became obviously annoyed at having to once again revisit the argument. "We've been fine," Minaj said exasperatedly. I wonder is these one of those feuds that they do just for the fun of it. I feel like they just want to get higher ratings. And I still wonder why the hell Nicki is a judge in the first place.

Big Boi & Andre 3000 Make The Media Rounds

Together, OutKast has been relatively quiet on the media front since they released their 2006 album Idlewild. But this week, the stars aligned, with both Andre 3000 and Big Boi talking to media outlets about various projects. Three Stacks spoke on his campaign with Gillette, stating that he isn't sure when he will release a solo album, that the video for Rick Ross' "Sixteen" will never arrive and that he's "proud" of Big Boi's solo career. Sir Lucious Leftfoot didn't have as kind things to say about his group member, noting that he wasn't upset about 3K's verse on T.I.'s "Sorry" but that he was too busy doing "Gillette shit" to contribute to his album. He finally conceded, stating that he will no longer talk about OutKast reunion rumors. It look like there is no more OutKast. Oh Well we still have the memories to hold on to.

Chief Keef Reportedly Misses His Own Video Shoot With 50 Cent & Wiz Khalifa

Chief Keef may have nabbed 50 Cent and Wiz Khalifa for his new single "Hate Being Sober," but he reportedly wasn't able to hang with the guys on the set of his own video. Last night, Fif took to Twitter to state that the young rapper didn't show up to the shoot. "I never saw anything like this on the first song," he wrote. "Its not funny @chiefkeef didn't sell any records yet, they will pull the plug on him." Khalifa and 50 held it down without Keef, later hitting the stage for a joint performance in Las Vegas, Nevada. Where O Where Could Chief Keef be Where O Where could he be?

Shyne Alleges 50 Cent Cooperated With Authorities To Bring Down Irv Gotti

Shyne recalled meeting Fif while ghostwriting for Diddy's 1999 LP Forever, saying that Fiddy was running scared from his foes Irv Gotti and Murder Inc. after a scuffle with the crew in 2000. He said that 50 actually hired police security to protect him from Gotti and company, and even gave police information on Gotti's supposed business dealings with notorious drug dealer Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff. “When I met [50 Cent] he was writing raps for Diddy on Forever. This was after Gotti and them poked him up in the Hit Factory and he ran to the cops and got a order of protection. He was walking around with a group of police, NYPD was holding him down. I swear to God he was in Daddy’s House in the lounge and he had security. He hadn’t sold one record. He hadn’t even put an album out...50 Cent was nobody, nobody knew who he was. He was hiding from Iv Gotti and Murder Inc. He’s the reason that Irv got indicted. He’s the reason that Kenneth Supreme McGriff is in prison for the rest of his life.”

50 Cent Taunts Oscar De La Hoya

50 Cent tossed his hat into the boxing promotions game this week with the launch of his TMT Promotions company, and many speculate that his longtime friend Floyd Mayweather would be joining 50's company and severing ties with former boxer-turned-promoter Oscar De La Hoya. It appears that 50 believes the same, as the hip hop star began taunting De La Hoya on Twitter yesterday (July 25th.) "@oscardelahoya I don't gamble floyd do,but I bet you won't be promoting Floyd mayweather no more. TMT PROMOTIONS" he tweeted. "@oscardelahoya sweet heart I'm surprised you would respond to me and Floyd starting the company the wayyou did." "Baby girl, @oscardelahoya, baby girl you here me, stop hating STOP IT RIGH NOW." he added. De La Hoya responded with, "@50cent your a boxing promoter? good luck maybe we can work someday. #success #nextgeneration #GBB #TMT" 50 continued to mock Oscar, first replying simply with "Classic," before adding, "Great back pedal, can you swim backwards like that to girl?lol I except that as a apology.#GBB #TMT more success a head."

Kanye Is Pushing Pusha T?

Kanye West is getting the best out of Pusha T. At least, that's how the G.O.O.D. Music rapper views Kanye's guidance. In a recent interview, Pusha admitted that Kanye continues to force him to revise his verses and sharpen his craft--despite his status as one of the more established artists on G.O.O.D.'s roster. “As far as revisions go and revising your verse when you're dealing with G.O.O.D. Music, it happens to all of us," Pusha T admitted. "I have never rewritten more verses in my life than right now,” he said. “Being signed to G.O.O.D. it just comes with the territory, man. These guys are perfectionists. I write verses and already think they're perfect. At the end of the day, ‘Ye will come through and be like, ‘Ah, no. We can do better or we can edit that out.’ He's really taught me in a sense of what he's looking for now, so now I sort of got it down to a science so I don't got to revisit it so much. But it's not beyond any of us. We revise stuff all the time.” “It's not humbling because you have to look at who's telling you to revise your verse," he added. "I never look at revision or any type of criticism as humbling when it’s coming from a 90-time Grammy winner. You've got to listen to somebody. Music is still a learning experience for me. I came into the game under super producers; I deal with super producers a lot, whether it be Pharrell, whether it be Kanye, whether it be The-Dream. You have to listen to somebody. Me specifically, I have to. I'm a rapper.”

Drake Questions Himself

Drake's pensive, introspective music has gotten him as many critics as fans, but the Young Money superstar that he writes to express himself and knows that digging deeper into his emotions than the average rapper is therapeutic for him...and his fans. In a recent interview, Drizzy talked specifically about his 2010 track "Marvin's Room." "That's me asking: 'Do I need to get a grip on my life?'," he says. "I have friends who are in committed relationships and spend all their time focused on one woman and I'm behaving like that! You start questioning your own morals. I'm 25 and single. I'm not supposed to care about deeper things right now, I'm supposed to be wild. But there are nights when you sit back and wonder, 'D*mn, is this right?'"

Rick Ross Hasn't Signed Trina To MMG

Rick Ross denied rumors that fellow Miami hip hop star Trina had joined his Maybach Music Group. Rozay said that though they have been spending time in the studio, nothing official has been signed between them. "Nah, I haven’t signed Trina yet or we haven’t done a deal yet," Ross said. "I was actually in the studio with Trina maybe two weeks ago, and she was playing me a lot of her new music. Her and Meek Mill did a collaboration, me and her did a collaboration. We were just in the studio kicking it, having fun."

Rapper B.G. formly of Cash Money Sentenced to 14 years

“ATF be showing they ass around my block, feds get all the respect because they’ll close up the shop.” – BG’s lyrics from The Hot Boys’ song, ‘Tuesday & Thursday’ Rapper “BG” a/k/a “B Gizzle” a/k/a Louisiana native Christopher Dorsey is well known for “keeping it real” and “street”. Today, the “Baby Gangsta” was indicted by a federal grand jury on firearms and obstruction charges. The 30-year old St. Rose, Louisiana resident has been charged in a 3-count indictment for felon in possession of a firearm, conspiracy to obstruct justice and BG faces up to 14 years in prison, if convicted. BG was arrested with two other men in November 2009 in New Orleans East for allegedly possessing 3 weapons, loaded magazines and two extended clips, while driving in eastern New Orleans. New Orleans police said two of the three guns had been reported stolen and the car itself had been stolen from an Alamo rental car parking lot. The case was later moved from Louisiana state court to federal court, resulting in federal indictments last year of Dorsey’s associates: Demounde Pollard, 19, and Jerod Fedison, 29. Both recently pleaded guilty, paving the way for the charges against BG. Federal prosecutors allege that BG conspired to get Pollard, who was inside the vehicle at the time of the arrest, to claim ownership of the guns. ATF agents monitored Fedison’s phone calls from theOrleans Parish Prison. At one point, Fedison called his girlfriend and told her Pollard, who had no criminal record, would need to admit to having the guns, according to court documents filed with the earlier plea deals. Fedison also expressed surprise that the police found the guns in the vehicle’s “stash spot.” In another jailhouse phone call, Fedison and BG discussed the importance of having Pollard claim ownership of the guns. Fedison told BG to put up money for Pollard’s bond and then make him sell drugs to pay it off, according to court filings. Pollard eventually signed an affidavit that he, rathern BG, had the guns. As part of his plea agreement, Pollard confessed that statement was false. He is scheduled to be sentenced in August. Several years ago, BG granted an interview to the Times-Picayune, in which he was quoted as saying, “The streets need me. If it wasn’t for the streets, I wouldn’t be who I am today. Every state and every city all over the United States, they got people that can relate to the stories, and the things I’ve seen and the things that I’ve been through,” he said.

Rapper Young Buck Gets Sentenced To 3 Years In Prison Will Serve 18 months

Earlier in the year, Def Sounds reported that Young Buck agreed to serve 18 months in prison on gun possession charges, following the 2010 raid of his Nashville home. At the time of the plea deal, a date for his formal sentencing was given.

Young Buck thanked the judge for allowing the counts to run concurrently, as he said:

“With the judge not considering my history to subtract some time, I’m just thankful for what time I do have.”

During Young Buck’s sentencing, the judge said Buck must remain off drugs and will be subject to court-ordered supervision for three years after his release.

Usher Wants To Settle Custody Battle With Ex After Stepson's Jet Ski Accident

After a tragic incident where his stepson, Kile Glover, was hit by a jet ski and suffered irreversible brain damage, Usher has reportedly moved to settle an ongoing custody dispute with his ex-wife Tameka Foster.

According to TMZ, the 33-year-old pop icon met with lawyers this week to draft a proposal that would grant Foster majority custody rights for their two sons, Usher Raymond V and Naviyd, and also increase the amount of child support paid by Usher. The proposal is an about-face from the singer's previously-requested 50/50 split.

As recently as May, Foster, under oath, denied claims that she had threatened to kill Usher. She did admit that she once threatened "I will f--- you up." Later that month, Usher refused Foster's request to allow her and their sons to live in a Georgia mansion that he owns.

The couple, who was married from 2007-2009, has been in the midst of a heated legal battle over the last three years, but it appears that Glover's injury has caused Usher to take some stock of the situation and try to settle. "He loved Kile," a source told U.S. Weekly. "This is a terrible, awful tragedy."

According to reports, though, Foster has yet to be presented with the new settlement offer.

Kanye West & Kim Kardashian Go To DASH Opening

Kanye West is really warming up to the reality TV lifestyle. After making his debut on "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" this week, 'Ye escorted his girlfriend Kim Kardashian to the opening of her new DASH store in Hollywood on Friday.

The couple was swarmed by fans and photographers, but Kanye was in good spirits, playing ball and not trying to hide from the flash bulbs. He and Kim stayed close through the opening party, and mingled with the rest of the Kardashian Klan.

On his "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" debut this week, Ye escorted Kim to Scott Dicisk's restaurant opening in NYC and fans got a chance to see Kim respond to Kanye's "Cold" lyrics.
During the episode Kourtney receives a call from their brother Rob, who can't wait to ask Kim about Kanye mentioning her (and even her ex Kris Humphries) on "Cold." Kim, in a poor attempt to play coy, acts like it's no big deal, responding, "Yeah I've heard it so, what?" with a smirk on her face, before adding. "Just because I'm seen with someone, does it automatically mean that he's my boyfriend?" Apparently the answer is yes

Kim Kardashian Won't Talk About Kanye

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's relationship may be the worst-kept secret in the gossip world these days, but that doesn't mean that Kimmy K is ready to go on-the-record about their relationship.
She shut down during an interview with MTV when asked about Yeezy.
"I don't know if I'm ready to talk about him," Kim said. "I feel like I've had such a hard time sharing my love life that now I'm a little bit more reserved on that."

I'm at lost for words....I don't know a lot of ladies who don't want to talk about their relationship.  Could it because we they are doing this just for publicity.  Any other man she done had she didn't have a problem but now you dating Kayne and you want to keep it a secret.  Maybe if she would have kept her marriage a secret she would still be married.
